Age rating tends to be a rather complicated thing. When it comes to movies, it appears simple at first, but ultimately all it says is there are some swear words and maybe some sex in this. We must, regrettably, inform you that this play features neither. Unless you count damn as a swear word worth fretting about.
The age rating of The Town that didn’t know Death instead focuses on topics that could be triggering for younger members of the audience. It is, without a doubt, a challenge to be a teenager. Now, in times of an uncertain future and a shaky present, even more so.
While we acknowledge that every teen is different and that there very well are plenty who will watch this play without issue, we also acknowledge that there are some who won’t. It is for those few that the age rating has been placed. Not, mind you, as a rule, but a friendly nod toward our content warnings.
Please stay safe.
